Go WILD!

We have been bugging Mom and Dad to take us to a Wild game since the season started up again in January... and now it was our turn!!  We had a "special date", and Brooke got to spend the day with Bonnie and Hambone -- so we all had special days!!

We found our Wild ponies - and ended up with 8 ponies in our hair to hold in the braids and styles we asked Mom for.

We had lunch at the game, then headed to our seats.  We had a cluster of 4 - and were able to rotate to sit by Mom AND Dad during the different periods of the game.

However, the best part was when Nordy showed up next to our seats!  We LOVE Nordy, and LOVED posing with him near our seats!!

After the game, we stopped to pick up Brooke - and found out she had a BLAST in her 'Hambone' shirt at the Sportsmen's Show.  We even got a few pictures of Brooke checking out EVERY boat in the place!!

It was a "special day" for ALL the girls!!!

Go Cyclones! Beat the Irish!

Despite our Irish heritage, our Cyclone blood runs very deep!

Tonight, the Cyclones played the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the NCAA tourney... and we were ready!!  We wore our Cyclone gear to school - complete with tattoos :-)

The game started, and we had to cheer really loud!!

Our PJs were green, but... the Cyclone ponies and tattoos, and our cheerleader moves, led to a Cyclone victory!!

On to the next round... GO STATE!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2013

We started early with GREEN... and kept the GREEN going all the way through St. Patrick's Day!!

First, Mommy started the weekend with green french toast...

Then... we had green milk ALL weekend...

Followed by "Irish Nails" - a mix of green, orange and white :-)

The morning of St. Patrick's Day... it was SUPER cold!  Mommy and Aunt Angie did a 5K at Lake Como -- it should have been a Frozen K :-)  After Mommy got home, we went out for our Irish meal... don't we look Irish??

Mommy said we would make Big Grandma very proud of her little leprecauhns - and carrying on the Irish heritage to the next generation!!

Spring Break at the Minnesota Zoo

After a day at home, our next spring break adventure was to the Minnesota Zoo!  We were so excited Addie and Kaitlynn could explore with us there, too!

Aunt Angie met us at Water World... she showed us a secret spot to watch the shark tank - and to pose for funny pictures!  We also touched the starfish and stingrays :-)

After playing in the water for a long time, we had lunch -- then headed for the Tropics Trail.  We saw turtles, birds, snakes, flamingos...

Then we went to the bird show - and saw even more birds!

To end the day, we visited the penguins... again, and again, and again!  We could not see enough of them, climb close enough to them, act enough like them... we LOVE the new exhibit! And.. Brooke knows it is from "3M"... she learned about Mommy's work from the signs :-)

We DID crash like this - in the car - on the way home!!

Spring Break at the Children's Museum

After a few days at Kids' Club, Mommy took a few days off of work to spend with us.  She had a few field trips planned, and we got to bring Addie and Kaitlynn with us!
The first day, we went to the Children's Museum...

We started with the face paint... then headed into the "circle" room.  We learned all about different ways to make circles, their strength, and how light reflects off circles.

Next, we went to the Dora & Diego exhibit... we practiced being monkeys in the rainforest... climbing Jaguar Mountain, taking care of animals at the Animal Rescue Center, planting flowers in Isa's garden, flying the space ship, piloting the Pigs' Pirate ship, and fueling Tico's car with nuts!!

We climbed in the ant hill, then took a lunch break.

After lunch, we built blocks at the construction site, made bubbles in water world, made our own paper and hats from newspaper... then headed to the art room...

Our last stop was "Little City"... we danced, drove the bus, played restaurant, went grocery shopping, delivered mail, made our own dance video, fixed broken bones... and built our own castle!

When we got home... we did a few more art projects, just to stay busy!!

What will we do next?

Stars on the Walk of Fame

It's SPRING BREAK!!!  We did not have school on Friday, but we did go to Kids' Club.  We got to dress up and walk the red carpet!  We wore our Easter dresses from last year, and made our own stars for the Kids' Club Walk of Fame!

Pretty creative, huh?  What do you think we'll do next week?

6th Birthday Party at Perpetual Motion

We have been asking, and asking, and ASKING to start gymnastics class since Neela went to a birthday party at Perpetual Motion in the fall... so for our party with our friends, we went to Perpetual Motion!

We brought Addie and Kaitlynn with us in our car - and were the first ones there!  While we waited, we enjoyed posing for pictures....

The first part of our party was an obstacle course... we climbed over mats, through circles, ran up to ramp, jumped into foam, walked a beam, jumped on a springboard, rolled up a cheese... you name it, we tried it!

After that circuit was done, we were split into two groups - one jumping into the foam and one bouncing on the big trampolines.

Mommy and Daddy even jumped into the foam pit!  Of course, Brooke and Blake had other ideas... they decided to try the parallel bars.  Maybe their next profession is as a monkey??

At the end of the "gymnastics" part, we ALL got to jump into the foam and pose.  We all made it into the foam - but we did not all get our faces looking the same way at the same time :-)

After gymnastics, it was time for cupcakes... vanilla for Neela and chocolate for Kylie!

We consumed every last bite of cupcake, and every last drop of juice.  The back of the car was FULL of fun new presents... Barbies, art projects, clothes, sidewalk chalk, Just Dance -- all kinds of things for us to try out again and again!!

Of course, Perpetual Motion's goodie bags came complete with stamps.  We could not keep the stamps to ourselves, and created our own "tattoos" for the ride home.

Can you guess what we want to try next?  Yep - GYMNASTICS CLASS!!
