Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year again... pumpkins and hay rides and all kinds of fall fun begin to emerge everywhere!  Daddy had to leave town, so Mommy and Jackie took all of the girls to the pumpkin patch in Plymouth.

We each picked out a pumpkin we could carve for Halloween...

There were inflatables everywhere... we climbed until a farmer showed up giving hayrides.  Of course, we couldn't pass that up!

Mommy told us Papa Pizza has a tractor like this, and she can drive it.  We're not so sure about that, but we did have to take a picture for Papa!

After a picnic lunch, it was time for mini golf.  We tried all 5 girls together, but quickly realized two groups MIGHT make things a bit easier.  Taking turns 5 ways, on only 18 holes, well....

Our next adventure was a workout! Well, not for us, but definitely for Mommy and Jackie.  We all piled into a surrey - and rode two laps around the park and lakes.  It was very beautiful, but a lot of weight to peddle around!

After a dessert of ice cream, it was time to head home!  It was a pretty fun autumn afternoon... the weather was beautiful, still warm, and our friends were so much fun, too!

Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Mommy found a deal for a new pumpkin patch - it looked like a lot of fun with pumpkins, and other activities. So, we found a nice day... and brought Addie. Kiki and their mom came with us!

We walked in - and the first thing we did was find our pumpkins!

Then, we climbed on inflatables and raced down slides... the farmer driving the hayrack asked if we wanted to go for a ride.  Why not??  Mommy said the tractor is like one she learned to drive on Papa Pizza's farm.

We took a break for a picnic lunch, then played a round of mini golf.

Next, we took out the surrey for a ride.  Mommy and Jackie said it was a great workout - we tried to help pedal, but we really couldn't reach them!

Our last adventure of the afternoon was ice cream - we thought putting it on our nose was the best place for it.  What do you think??

Fashionistas

Mommy had a random sampling of us modeling outfits on her phone... what do you think? Can we be fashion models in the future?

Papa's turns 60!

After we spent the morning celebrating for Brooke, it was time to switch things up!  We changed into our Cyclone gear - it was ISU vs. Iowa game day, and we couldn't be seen in anything black OR gold!!

It wasn't just Brooke's birthday weekend, though, it was Papa Lollipapa's 60th birthday party celebration, too!  We went to the Elk's club for supper, and celebrating with Papa's friends.

Terrick and Talon even came with for a little while - we spent plenty of time outside on the playground, with the football, and more..

Neela really wanted some white cake, so Grandma had to cut it for her.  Yes, it's a 60th birthday cake :-)

Then, we headed outside for a few family pictures... hmmm.... a Cyclone family??

Back inside, we posed with a few guests...

Neela had fun with Aunt Renee and Mommy's friend, Teresa...

...and we all enjoyed meeting the newest Estochen, baby Aiden :-)
(Check out his Steelers' socks - we had some like that!)

Before we could head home the next day, we needed to check out the hot tub. If we can find a way, Mommy, Uncle David and Uncle Chuckie could all join us next time!!

Happy Birthday, Papa Lollipapa!

Brooke's Birthday Party in Sioux City

Brooke very patiently waited from her "real" birthday to the "bouncy place" party in Sioux City.  Grandma Banana had a slight mishap, and couldn't make Brooke's cake.  Grandma Candy called a friend, and Brooke ended up with her purple Hello Kitty cake :-)  Good thing the Grandmas look out for each other!

Then... the bouncy party!  All 3 girls had new Hello Kitty shirts to wear for the party... and Brooke picked out some tattoos for everyone, too.  We couldn't wait for our guests, so we climbed right in!  Terrick and Talon came to BOUNCE with us - we love having our cousins around!!  A few of Uncle Chuckie's friends and their kids came to bounce, too... and we had an audience of grown-ups to show off for: Big Papa, Big Grandma, Aunt Renee, Uncle David, Uncle Chuckie, Grandma Candy and Papa Lollipapa.

After bouncing, it was time for cake and ice cream... and anything, and EVERYTHING, Hello Kitty you can imagine!

Brooke could not wait to try on every outfit, open every toy and try her new Leapster game :-)  Such a fun end to her "birth week"!  Thank you to everyone for making it so fun!!
