Brooke has been saying "Ba-ba-ba-ba" for about a week now... but, last night, at 2 AM, Brooke decided to try a new word... "Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma..." Mommy couldn't believe it! It made her smile so big - even though it was 2 AM. Tonight, when Daddy was getting her pajamas on, Brooke started to tell Daddy, "Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma."

In other Brooke news, Brooke had her first tastes of ice cream the last two weekends - one lick from Grandma & Papa E. at the hockey game, and one lick from Grandma & Papa G. at Aunt Angie's. Of course, this might explain some of the significant blow-outs the last two weeks -- but they also could have been caused by teething!She also loves sitting up, finding toys, finding Cy's toys, pulling Cy's hair, rolling over AND trying to get up on all 4s! She's trying to figure out how to crawl, so it's probably only a matter of time!
Brooke also is very big into "Biter Biscuits", Gerber cheese puffs, Gerber puffs... and anything else she can put in her mouth herself! Maybe we'll have to try green beans this weekend :-)
