Cookie Monsters!

Despite the biggest snowstorm since Kylie & Neela were born, we still found time to make Christmas cookies... or maybe it's the snowstorm that gave us the time to bake cookies!

Our assistant chefs were not all able to participate, but we did have a few helpers!

Brooke & Neela make Puppy Chow

Making Rolo Turtles
Unwrapping the Rolos
Quality Control!
Danielle & Sophie walked over in the blizzard to help with this part!  (And... Mommy realized having preschoolers to unwrap all the candies makes it way easier!!)

After a long day of baking - and watching it snow - we had Christmas movie night when Brooke was in bed.  We watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, ate cookies and drank hot chocolate in our Christmas PJs!

The next day, Aunt Angie made it to our house to make sugar cookies.  Brooke really wanted to help on Sunday, so she got out the spatula and her bib, too.

When we finished, we wanted to make sure we saved some cookies for Santa.  We got out a pretty bag, signed our names, and Neela put it on the carpet in front of the fireplace - in case he showed up super early!  Mommy did move it to the mantel - just in case Cy got hungry!
