21 Months... Where did they go?

"Baby Brooke" arrived in out lives 21 months ago - and she has turned into quite the chatterbox and energizer bunny!

Here are a few of the crazy things Brooke is saying and doing at 21 months:

• I LOVE to do knuckles and high 5 -- especially at the dinner table!
• If you ask Brooke who did something, she says "I did".  If you ask her "Who is hungry, etc..?", she will respond with "I am".
• It's been raining a lot lately - and Kylie and Neela love to sing to the rain drops.  Brooke chimes in with...  "Rain, rain, go way"
• Of course, she also loves the song: "Little star, where you are"
• Brooke very much enjoys books.  She takes them EVERYWHERE, and will sit and page through them for hours.  She does awesome at the library.  Her favorite book right now is the "Dora, Boots" good night story.
• Of course, it's not always reading Brooke wants.  Sometimes, she likes to watch "e-go" (not Dora - go figure!).
• Brooke must have observed a few Backyardigans' episodes - at the most random times, she will say "Pirate - ARRGGHH!" and cover her eye with a fist.
• Brooke loves to play with baby dolls all the time.  She will play with doll houses, dress-up dolls, and strollers forever.  Now she even tells us "Baby dirty", and asks for help changing the diaper.  She also manages to tell us when SHE'S dirty ("Poopy - change diaper" - and she will bring you the diaper!).  Brooke asks to use the potty - not regularly - but when you put her on the potty, she goes!!!
• Brooke's FAVORITE thing to carry around right now is the stuffed pink bunny she got for Easter.  Her bed has 3 bunnies, a puppy, a cow, a Care Bear, a satin blanket bear, 2-3 baby dolls and two blankets.  She will tell every animal "Good Night, Sleep Tight" before she goes to sleep.  If she's not tired, she will play with them - and not cry at all!  She loves to turn on her projection night light, and watch the animals spin with her animals - she can name them all... giraffe, zebra, whale, lion...
• At Tracy's, on days when only the girls are there, they will do "Girl Power".  Brooke loves to do "Girl Power" at home, too!
• Her Papa Pizza and sister have had an influence on her.  Neela always teases Papa about saying "Yah" with his heavy German slang.  Brooke walks around now saying "Papa YAH", just like Neela.
• Brooke will tell you "Name Brooke", and can say a pretty understandable "Estochen", too.
