Random Summer Photo Collection

It's been a summer of having fun at home - and creating that fun in every way we can!  Mommy decided to clean up some pictures, and look at all the fun we've had so far...

We did pedicures in the driveway...

We all took swimming lessons... and we all love the water even more!  Of course, Brooke is in the water with Mommy or Daddy, so no one has pictures of her!

One Saturday, we decided to clean up shoes... we went through all of our shoes, lined them up (Kylie's and Neela's are in the same line), and tried them ALL on... we wanted to see which one's fit - and which one's didn't - so we had more room in the mud room, and fewer choices in the morning!

Of course, as Kylie and Neela walked in their "heels", Mommy tried to teach the "heel" / "toe" concept... it was interesting... the video tells even more :-)  We were telling Grandma Candy all about it when Mommy took our picture!

Daddy found a frog... we brought it in the house... we brought it outside... we tried to make it a house in the plants... and the fire pit... and a few other places... before we were convinced to let it go.

We have also had a few bonfires... this big one was the start of the "crib burning" event!  Daddy cut up Brooker's "teeny bed"... it made a great fire :-)

Kylie finally got to meet baby Bradley - and she could not have been more thrilled to hold him, touch his feet, talk to him, help change his diaper... and for everyone wondering, NO MORE KIDS at our house :-)

We had LOTS of bubble baths - in Mommy and Daddy's tub!  Now that we know where the bubble bath is - and where the jacuzzi jets are - we are TROUBLE in the tub!

Of course, we are working on helping with chores.  We help set the table, clear our plates, vacuum the floor, and now... we had to buy enough step stools so we can all help do dishes.  (Mommy wants to know how long this will be fun!)

Brooke's newest adventures include potty training and sleeping in her own bed.  After 3 dry days at Ms. Corey's, she earned Izzy (from Aunt Renee and Uncle David).  Of course, the next day, she lost Izzy.  She pooped in her panties and told Ms. Corey, "I already got my award..."

When we got our hair cut, we convinced Ms. Brenda to let us dry under the "big dryer" instead of using the small blow dryer!  We thought it was PERFECT, and felt so grown up!

Mommy had her division picnic, on the last night of Kylie and Neela's swimming lessons.  Mommy took Brooke to the picnic, and Daddy took the twins swimming.  Brooke had a BLAST with all the bouncies...

...and enjoyed convincing Mommy's friends she needed cookies, sugar, and frosting for dessert!!

Of course, the next day she had a stomach ache - and Mommy had to pick her up early from Ms. Corey's.  Before Mommy arrived, Kylie had a "fever" (she's always hot), and Neela had a "stomach ache" (she's always hungry!).  SO... all 3 girls went home sick.  By 2 PM, Mommy couldn't handle it anymore -- and headed to "Broken Arm" park to burn off some energy!

The monkey bars on the right are the "broken arm" bars

Brooke on the Zipline!
Over the weekend, we went to 4 different parks on Sunday so Daddy could work on projects in the backyard.

Kylie's Crysallis
If you could climb it, zipline it, or hang from it, we were ALL over it!  This meant Mommy got a workout lifting, pushing, spotting and carrying us across all the bars at every park!!

Brooke is not doing too well at sleeping in her own bed, but Kylie and Neela aren't doing so well either.  Daddy is getting kicked out of the "big" bed, and moving all over the house, so the girls will sleep through the night (or at least, sleep after they wake up at 1 AM, 2 AM, 3 AM, 4 AM...).  Cy doesn't mind sharing - as long as there is a little space left for him!

Our last bit of helping... making breakfast, and anything else!

This feature was Kylie's cinnamon rolls and strawberries... Kylie thought the strawberries looked like a smile - and Neela thought the strawberries looked like a tiara :-)  Go figure!

Even though we have not traveled much, you can't say we aren't finding ways to have fun!!
