We started talking with Mommy about pierced ears a LONG time ago. Every time we asked, she said it hurt a little - and we dropped the subject. Saturday, we started talking about all of our friends who had pierced ears at school. Mommy said our kindergarten graduation gift from her and Daddy would be to get our ears' pierced. We could decide when we were ready...
So, today, while we were at the Zoo, we decided it would be a great day to get our ears' pierced. On the way home, we stopped at Claire's. We were both pretty nervous, but still wanted to do it. We each picked out our own earrings - Neela wanted purple, and Kylie wanted pink. Then, Neela went first. She sat in the tall chair, and held the teddy bear VERY tight. Then, two women pierced BOTH ears at the SAME time - and it did not hurt at all!! Kylie thought Neela's went pretty well, so she climbed into the chair - grabbed onto the teddy bear, and was done super fast, too!
Now... Mommy thinks we look too grown up!
And... we are asking everyone else to buy us more earrings :-)
