Cinco de Mayo

It was another busy weekend at the Estochen's -- all of the Guggisberg relatives were at our house (the Dormitory de Estochen!). We had queen size air mattresses in front of the couch, behind the couch, and next to the washing machine. Kylie and Neela thought they were awesome - more things to crawl on - and Cy totally enjoyed being able to curl up on them when no one was watching.

The girls went to my cousin Katy's bridal shower on Saturday, after gymnastics - and they napped in the car, and when we got home. They played outside on their rider toys from Uncle Chuck, and wanted to stay up all night and tell stories with Papa, Grandma, Aunt Heidi, Uncle Cory, Aunt Angie, Uncle Tony and "Uncle" (Cousin) Patrick. Kylie only woke up twice to come back out and play! Saturday was also our last night with a bottle before bed -- we'd been drinking sippy cups for a while during the day, but Mom still gave us a bottle before bed. Sunday, Dad decided that was enough - he wanted his counter space back - and switched us to sippy cups before bed. Of course, now we want to read more stories...

Today is Cinco de Mayo! We celebrated by having supper at Acapulco restaurant (it was Daddy's idea -- we swear -- Mommy was planning to stay home for supper!!). Kylie and Neela had quesadillas, nachos and some of Mom's burrito. They absolutely loved it - and behaved VERY well! We hope you all had a great weekend, and enjoyed the festivities today!
