Aunt Angie's birthday is 10 days away, but we weren't sure if we will see her again before her birthday. She was bringing Mommy's bike back, so we decided to celebrate tonight.
After Tracy's, we went to the grocery store and got a cake. Daddy brought home pizza. We sat on the front step and waited for Angie -- then gave her the cake the minute she walked in. When Angie asked if we baked it, we said "No, we bought it!". (Such HONESTY!!)
We have never cleaned our plates as well as we did for Angie. Daddy said we had to eat all of our salad and all of our pizza BEFORE we could have any cake... well... they were the cleanest plates this house has seen in a LONG TIME! Then, we couldn't understand why Mommy, Daddy and Angie weren't done immediately when we were!! And... why do we have to sing and take pictures???
The best way to take a picture is to stand right behind the person unpackaging the cake :-)
After supper, Brooke found a phone under a chair. She started pushing buttons, then crawled across the floor with it. Did you know a 10-month-old can dial 911? Did you know they call back? And, even if you say everything's fine, the police STILL come to check on you? What a great county and city!! Thanks, Woodbury Public Safety!
