Neela's a SUPERSTAR!

We started to be "old hats" at Super Star week by Week #2 of Super Stars at the Estochen house!  Of course, we wanted to make things just as fun for Neela.  We started the week with doughnuts at Kowalski's.  Then, it was on to school!  Neela was THRILLED for her turn to arrive, and Kylie was a bit sad her week had come to an end.

Neela's book of thigns to read included raspberries, blue stars, eggs, candy...

Neela was SOOOOOOOO excited to be the super star, to sit in the yellow chair, to use the "wand"...

First, you get to tell everyone how to spell your name:

Then, you get to hear the Super Star song about you - and get the Super Star sticker...  Neela almost knocked out Mrs. Rose when it was time to get her sticker :-)

After sticker time, Neela got to talk about the things she brought with.  First, she told everyone she brought Mommy & Daddy.  Then, it was on to the "purple bear" named "Neela".  She even showed off his magic wand!

Next, Neela also chose to bring in a few pictures.  She used some items from VERY recent memory... a lot of pictures of Papa Pizza's concrete truck (with her 'driving'), and of her pumpkin from Papa's pumpkin patch.  She also brought a pumpkin for the science table.



Neela was the Super Star during MEA week, so she had a little shorter week.  She did get to tell everyone she had 6 people in her family, her family picture included EVERYONE.  She also got to talk all about purple, and her favorite clothes (dresses, anyone??).  Ms. Tracy and Brooke stayed for this overview.  Then, it was off to the field trip at the Hugo animal farm.  Neela got to go first in every line... to milk the goat, pet the rabbit, feed the chickens, pick a pumpkin... she LOVED it.  (Kylie couldn't stop talking about the goat... and all Daddy thought was "poor goat"... 20 kids DID try to milk it!)

Wednesday night, Neela chose to have the entire family celebrate Super Star week with ice cream :-)  We all went to Cold Stone.  Neela had strawberry ice cream with marshmallows, Kylie had cotton candy ice cream with M&M's, Brooke asked for vanilla with M&M's (but Mommy should have known she'd want chocolate when she sat down...).

It was another awesome super star week!
