Happy Halloween!

We LOVE Halloween at our house!

Mommy made us special lunches to take to daycare... spiders (peanut butter crackers), eyeballs (carrots, cream cheese and olives) and rotten fruit (strawberries on raisins)!  The spiders and rotten fruit were a hit - the eyeballs, not so much :-)

We could not wait for trick-or-treating, but first we had to have a "silly supper"... orange pancakes with Halloween sprinkles, bacon, and more strawberries!

Then, it was time to get our costumes on.  It was a warmer-than-normal Minnesota Halloween, so we didn't need quite as many layers... Brooke also decided it was time to be a princess tonight, instead of the firefighter from the Halloween party.  We were so excited, we wouldn't even let Daddy get a picture of us before we headed down the street with Mommy, Sophie, Sophie's Mommy, Sophie's Grandma and Little Joe!

We did very well walking - and making sure Brooke and Sophie kept up.  Brooke walked up to every door and said "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you", even if you could not always understand her.  She also picked up a rock at every house in the neighborhood - so her basket was the heaviest by far!

Afterwards, we dug into our candy stash... and we found a few moments to take pictures with the "crazy tourist" (our Mom!)... Daddy has a shirt to match her dress!

We are already planning our costumes for next year!
We love Halloween... Neela says, "...even more than Christmas!"
