After a busy morning of Kindergarten graduation, lunch with our families, ice cream dessert, and gifts at home... we had another BIG event! Our dance recital was FINALLY here!! We've been practicing all year for it -- and LOVE to get all dressed up for it :-) Mommy did our hair super fancy, put makeup on us, and we even got to wear a little pixie dust! Of course, everyone in the paparazzi wanted pictures with us... and we were (mostly) happy to pose before we headed out the door.
Once we got to the high school, we got to sit in back and play with our friends while our families sat in the audience. They were RIGHT in front of the stage, so they could see every move we made! Kylie and Neela "Baked a Cake" for their tap routine... and Brooke danced to the "Codfish Ball" for her's.
For jazz, Brooke did "Mr. Sandman" (who thinks this kid sleeps??? Mommy wonders how they picked the ironic music!!)...
... and the twins did "A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes"...
At the end of the night, we all got to come back on stage for the grand finale! We danced to "This Moment", and had balloons and confetti fall on us! Afterwards, Grandma Banana, Grandma Candy and Aunt Renee bought us flowers... we were so happy!!
PS: We had an addition to the paparazzi at the recital - Aunt Angie made it, too!! She took us to rehearsal last week when Mommy had an awards ceremony, so she knew everything we were up to :-)
