Saturday started off like most Saturdays... we climbed in Mom & Dad's bed, watched some TV, then headed downstairs to make pancakes...
Daddy said we'd have a surprise on Saturday - Grandma & Papa came to visit. But, that was just the first of many surprises! We had to take Grandma & Papa to the airport -- they had so much stuff, they borrowed all of our suitcases -- AND Sue and Aunt Angie had to drive us to the airport!
When we got to the airport, Mommy asked us if WE wanted to go on the plane, too! How could we say no?? We were so excited! This was the first time we went through security at the airport - and the first time we got close to any planes.
Then, it was our turn to get on the plane! Neela sat with Mommy, Kylie sat with Daddy and Brooke slept on Grandma and Papa for the entire flight from Minneapolis to Denver! Kylie talked about every part of the flight, and Neela loved having her Leapster in her surprise backpack! In Denver, we switched people around... Kylie was with Papa, Neela was with Grandma, and Brooke was with Mom and Dad. Brooke was much more awake for this part of the trip - and really enjoyed using Mommy's computer :-)
Mommy took a few pictures of the mountains from the airplane... some turned out better than others.
After we landed, we wondered what happened to our suitcases. We were told to stay with Mommy & Grandma while Daddy & Papa looked for them. We wanted to help - and our best vantage point was from the row of seats next to baggage claim!
Then, we got to the hotel, had some pizza, and got ready for bed... our next surprise was new princess PJs! Don't we look cute?!?!?!?
