Ice Skating

We started our newest "Minnesota" girl adventure today... ice skating!  We love hockey, we love to watch skating, and we really wanted to try it out.

We showed up extra early at the rink - and were all ready to go!  Brooke fell asleep in the car, so Mom and Dad could watch us very closely.

Older skaters were on hand to help us get to our class session... 

We practiced sitting, standing, stretching, falling and getting back up...

The ice is a LOT of work - a lot more than we planned on! 

We did get hot cocoa when we got home, and we defintitely needed a rest!  Next week, Mommy swears she'll go with us - even though she hasn't been an skates in 20 years.
