Kylie somehow managed to get a fever over the weekend that Daddy didn't tell Mommy about until Sunday morning. Kylie went to the doctor on Monday for a throat culture and a chest x-ray, and they decided it was a "virus that has to run it's course"... this led to a marathon of getting better! Daddy left for Portland before the doctor appointment, so Mommy was home with both girls until Wednesday morning.
We both wanted to be held a lot... we both wanted to play with Cy's food and Cy's water. Neela managed to unroll most of the toilet paper in the bathroom. Neela managed to slip off the bottom step on the deck stairs when she was trying to walk. Kylie wouldn't eat much - Neela wanted to eat everything, or feed it to Cy, depending on her mood! Cy loved every minute of all the food! We tried playing in our Moses' baskets (we've outgrown them!), finger painting, coloring, bubbles, walks around the block, sun on the deck... Mommy was running out of fun things to do at home so we wouldn't cry! Kylie did well with Children's Tylenol - and Mommy needed a glass of wine after we both went to bed!
Daddy is home now - and Mommy is VERY happy!!
