We pretty much had a Mother's Day weekend at our house!
On Friday, we brought home the gifts Tracy helped us make (THANK YOU, TRACY!).
On Saturday, we went shopping and bought flowers with Daddy at Tara's Flower Shop (Sweet Pea Floral). Neela picked a pink carnation, a red rose, and a yellow rose.
Kylie picked a pink carnation, a red rose, and an orange daisy.
Brooke "picked" a red rose, a yellow daisy, and a green spider flower (with Daddy's help).
Mommy is still trying to convince the girls that when Daddy takes them in the cooler, they need to head straight to the daisy and the roses... but they are after Daddy's heart -- carnations are so much cheaper!
On Sunday, the girls let Mommy sleep in. They bought coffee, chocolate doughnuts (for Mommy) and sprinkle doughnuts (for themselves) at the gas station, and cards and hanging plants at Wal-Mart. Then, we all went to Gerten's and picked out flowers for our garden. We helped plant them when we got home. Daddy made Mommy a special lunch and dinner, too!
At bedtime, Mommy got one of the best gifts of all....
