Daddy decided to surprise us - two times!
First, we drove to Fort Snelling - and hopped on the TRAIN to go downtown! We were thrilled, and loved all the stops we counted along the way.
Then, we got downtown Minneapolis - and learned we got to watch a parade of lights (Hollidazzle!). We couldn't wait for it to start... but we tried our best to wait, patiently.
The big girls were a little better at waiting than Brooke :-)
Once the parade started, we would not sit still! We kept looking and looking for the next float - and they were almost all about nursery rhymes we knew. Mommy and Daddy also forgot to tell us Santa "might" be on one of the floats, but some of the "light bulbs" in the parade told us.
We stared down the street - looking hard for him...
And... there he was! "Hi Santa!"
