Every year, we add new ornaments to our tree - and this year was no exception.
First, we gave Mom & Dad the ornaments we made at Little Angels. They were red ball ornaments, with our finger prints turned into snowmen. We couldn't wait for them to be opened - and then we hung them up! We were even very proud of the gift bags, especially because we could reuse them.
Then, we hung up our newest ornaments from Mom & Dad. Since we are very interested in spelling our names, we found ornaments to link together EVERY letter of our names. They are pretty long, so it's a good thing our tree has so much space when it's upside down!
The weekend before Christmas, Mom and Dad let us open a few gifts early - and we gave them a few early gifts, too. We waited, and waited, and waited to get to open our presents to each other.
Brooke decided she could wait longer, so she directed us on how to open our presents.
Of course, Brooke did get to open her presents first. We bought her an explorer set (a telescope, binoculars and a compass). We spent hours exploring the house after she opened it.
Remember the "gifts for others" from the preschool program? Well... Neela told Kylie that was EXACTLY what she wanted for a Christmas gift... so guess what Neela bought Kylie? A pink "gift for others"... and guess what Kylie told Mommy the entire time we were shopping... "Neela wants a purple Barbie like the one she gave to others. Can we find one Mom??"
Brooke gave her sisters Squinkies, and the girls second gift for Brooke was a 10-piece band set... They loved marching around the house playing with it! (Guess who does NOT get to take the girls shopping for each other next year?? DADDY!!)
And... Mommy and Daddy were thrilled with the gifts the girls made at Ms. Tracy's. They each made a snowman - with color and glitter - that we will enjoy every Christmas. (Thank you, Tracy!)
Finally, the girls opened their gifts from Ms. Tracy and her family. Tracy's son collects nutcrackers, and the girls have been LOVING them for the last month. Tracy found a nutcracker appropriate for each girl - a pirate for Brooke, a girl in a purple dress for Neela, and a girl in a pink dress for Kylie.
Now... on to the next Christmas adventure!
