Twas the Days before Christmas... in Sioux City!

We started our annual Christmas road trip heading southwest to Sioux City.  When we arrived, Aunt Renee and Uncle David were so excited to see us!  We had not seen them since July!  They brought a few toys we did not have to wait to open - so we didn't.  We put together princess puzzles and played with them for a long time.

After pizza for supper, we got to open one present...  We all got new pillow pets - Steelers' pillow pets to be exact!  We started sleeping with them immdiately!

With all the visitors, we had some fun sleeping arrangments.  The big girls got to take turns sleeping with Grandma and Papa -- one on the futon, one in Grandma and Papa's bedroom.  Brooke slept in her pack-and-play for probably the last time.

On Friday, we went to visit Little Grandma.  We brought her lunch - Arby's chicken fingers - and her Christmas gifts for us.  After we late, we got to open our gifts from her...  Brooke got a magnetic dress-up doll in pirate clothes, Kylie got kitchen appliances, and Neela got her remote-control puppy.  We also gave Little Grandma her calendar - but we didn't really let her open it without assistance.

After we left Little Grandma's, Brooke fell asleep.  Kylie and Neela wanted to go, so Aunt Renee and Mommy took them bowling with Hunter, Ali and Nolan.  It was Hunter and Nolan's first bowling experience - and we were big helpers!  We also wanted to bowl like Ali - Mommy thinks we have a new role model!

Tonight, we had a "discussion" with Uncle David.  He said if we would say "Go 49ers!", we could open a few more presents.  We looked at him, and responded "Go Steelers, Boo 49ers!".  Daddy, Chuckie, Papa and Big Papa (and all the women, too) were SOOO proud ... we got to open presents from Grandma and Papa -- Steelers' sweatshirts!  We are so "Estochen!"

Uncle John brought Hunter over to play, and also a few more presents for us to open.  We all got new musical jewelry boxes with dancing ballerinas, and jewelry to put in them!  To quote Kylie, "it is so precious!"  Another home run, Aunt Trudi!

We can't wait for tomorrow!!
