After the preschool program, we went and had lunch with Grandma and Papa.
Then, everyone took a 3 hour nap!
While we waited for pizza to be delivered for supper, we opened a few of our presents from Grandma and Papa. Brooke got dolls and blocks... Kylie and Neela got bead kits and ROBOTS!
All 3 kiddos got some really cute outfits, too!!
On Saturday, we headed to the Minnesota Children's Museum. The girls enjoyed EVERY part of EVERY room! Check out all the fun things they tried on, climbed on and played with...
Brooke in a "Jungle" Hat
Kylie pulls herself up a "wall" in the "jungle"
Neela on the same "wall"
One of our FAVORITE parts of the day was the face painting station. Papa helped us get started, but we "finished" him off... he had a very LARGE canvas for us to paint on :-)
We thoroughly enjoyed the water room - we got a little wet, but Papa taught us how to move tennis balls through the pipes AND played with us in the bubbles. Grandma and Brooke got into the bubbles, too!
Another hit for us was the nature room... We crawled through logs, pretended to be turtles, made thunderstorms, climbed through the ant farm, and sat on a big spider! If Neela had known it was "bugs", she probably would have skipped the entire thing - but Kylie LOVED every minute of it :-)
At the end of our trip, Grandma decided we could have a little ice cream - so we got ice cream at McDonald's on our way through the skyway. (We loved "walking" on the cars, too!) We ate every DROP of our ice cream in the car.
Our day ended with a quick nap before we headed to the Falk's for a play date... while Mommy and Daddy had dinner with Sophie's parents. We had a blast playing with all of Sophie's toys - and her grandparents.
