We headed to Sioux City for some celebrating...
Neela was so excited, she received her first yellow slip at school. Brooke was so excited, she slid down the slide face first and cracked open her lip! We have some CRAZY girls at the Estochen house!
We arrived late Friday night. Kylie had a sleepover with Renee. Neela had a sleepover with Grandma. Brooke had a sleepover with Mom. Daddy ended up sleeping on the floor after several rounds of poker with Papa and Chuckie on Facebook... David got lucky!!
On Saturday, when Daddy finally woke up, we headed to Big Papa and Big Grandma's to celebrate our Christmas with them. Aunt Kara and Uncle Sam were there, too. (They could not visit us -- they did not know about Aunt Renee and Uncle David!)
We opened our gifts... lots of cool things, but our favorite was probably the Tinkerbell PJs... maybe the puzzles we did with Big Grandma, or the books Brooke read at night..
After Neela fell asleep, and Mommy made a few calls for work, we headed back to Grandma and Papa's to get ready for the "big party". Big Grandma and Big Papa have been married 60 years... and they wanted to celebrate with their families!
After a few kisses and delicious food, Big Papa gave a speech... he said he could not ask for a better family, and that the key to 60 years is beer :-)

Then... we headed back to Papa and Grandma's for cake and visiting. We weren't really going to have cake, but Kylie asked Grandma about the cake for the party... so Grandma bought one. Wow, we know how to talk Grandma into ANYTHING!!
We took a few more pictures downstairs... but... do you really think you can get all of the family to look at the camera at the same time????

Big Papa said his feet were cold... so Kylie let him borrow Mommy's new Christmas slippers.
Don't they look cute?? Brooke calls them the "O Christmas Tree" slippers!
Big Papa redid part of his speech since a few people could not hear at the restaurant... we tried very hard to pay attention with some help from Uncle David...
...but had to be told to be quiet once or twice!
Afterwards, Brooke went around the room. She gave EVERYONE a hug and kiss :-)
We missed a few pictures, but rest assured, she did not miss a person... She even caught Cory upstairs!
