We awoke to the first BIG snowfall of the season - and it was a WILD one! We could see the grass when we went to bed, and all we could see was WHITE when we woke up. We wanted to run outside to make snowmen, snow angels, snow bears, snow forts... you name it, WE LOVE SNOW!!
Daddy left to go to a football game - driving slowly and carefully... we had to eat breakfast, wait for Mommy to pick up a few things, then headed outside to PLAY! Addie and Kaitlynn came down the street - we used our sleds on the side hill, played on the swing set - especially the slide, tried to make snow balls, made lots of angels, and eventually, got a little cold and wet. We headed inside, had some hot chocolate, and watched "Frosty the Snowman" (what else!?!?!?!).
After our break, we made some Christmas cookies (with Addie and Kaitlynn), and played a whole bunch! Then, it was time to pick up. Mommy had a surprise for us - tickets to Disney on Ice! We could not wait.... despite the snow, Mommy managed to "blow out of the driveway" in the van, and drive very carefully to the Xcel Energy Center. We LOVED it! The first half engaged us more than the second half... Kylie and Neela loved the princesses, Neela sang EVERY song, and Brooke kept her eyes peeled for Mickey while dancing in the aisles.
