Everyone was in Sioux City for Big Grandma and Big Papa's Anniversary, so we had our Christmas a little bit early. We opened our stockings on Saturday - and all got new Steelers' shirts! On Sunday, we did not want to wear the Steelers' shirts we brought, we wanted to wear our new shirts... and Cy wanted to be part of our fun!
After a few poses, we assembled all the grown-ups to open gifts. We were very excited to open EVERYTHING, but we had to take turns... so we helped deliver and open everyone's gifts.
Grandma and Papa bought us all new sleeping bags - and the bags all have our names on them!
Aunt Renee and Uncle David bought Brooke the Little People Princess Castle - and the princesses to go with it. The princesses introduce themselves, and sing songs from their movies as they dance on the turntable.
Brooke also got a new Jake movie from Uncle Chuckie - "Jake saves Bucky"... another BIG HIT!
Kylie and Neela were patiently waiting... or as patiently as two girls could be when it was not their turn.
We did have fun ripping off paper EVERY time - big or small... you name it!
Kylie loved her new outfit from Justice... (uh oh - Mommy has heard PLENTY about that store!)
Neela hugged Uncle David very tightly when she opened her Thomas Kincade Snow White painting...
... but she also loved her new Tinkerbell house :-)
All 3 girls got bags full of puppets...
...to use in their new puppet theater! We LOVE to pretend! This will be SOOO much fun!
"Where's my Water?" and Shrinkidinks!
After gifts... Big Papa and Big Grandma came over, and Uncle John brought gifts, too. We loved the eye masks in Uncle John's beauty kits so much they were hard to take off.
We headed for home after lunch... Brooke did not make it too far before she fell asleep.
... Neela and Kylie 'pretended' to sleep, but really looked like they were eating bon-bons at a spa in the back row!!
What a great start to the Christmas season!
