Have you ever wondered if your parents have any influence on your sports' affiliation?
At our house, you really do not need to wonder... it is Iowa State vs. Iowa game day...
so Mommy started off the day with Cardinal and Gold pancakes!
Then, we BEGGED to put on our Cyclone cheerleader outfits - they might be a little short, but who says cheerleaders wear long skirts??? (Brooke does not have a Cyclone OR cheerleader outfit that fit, but it appears she may have two readily available soon!!) We did not miss a beat... putting on our Cyclone ponies, finding our poms, and asking Mommy to find the Cyclone Fight Song on YouTube (yes, we know EVERY word!!).
We also remembered that Grandma Candy brought us Cyclone lollipops for Brooke's birthday - and we enjoyed every bit of them!
Aunt Angie also brought us all tattoos - she figured we needed even more Cyclone sprit :-)
All our cheering and sprit paid off - a Cyclone victory over the Hawkeyes!!
More cheering, dancing and celebrating in Cardinal and Gold at our house :-)
